My sister-in-law Nicola’s storybook themed baby shower, held at our house.
The video is a collaborative effort with my brother: Bruno took the footage, I edited in Final Cut Pro X. Already excited to show their son when he’s old enough to watch this :)
Such a lovely afternoon (if a little stressful to organise!) and so pleased to have this memory of Nicola at 8 months pregnant laughing with her friends. Bonus to have our Spanish cousin, Mariana, and Mums/aunt/cousins there too, and grateful to Bruno for making the effort to video the event. Pretty impressed he managed the focus with the 50mm 1.2 lens - can’t get enough of the dreamy effect.
Maybe it’s because I’m reminded of all things American today, and the thought of families gathering at home, this book caught my eye.
